柯惠医疗器材制造(上海)有限公司是covidien在中国投资4千多万美金成立的全资子公司，成立于2006年11月。 公司购买了位于漕河泾高科技园区标准厂房作为工厂的生产和办公用房。 2006年1月开始厂房的建设，2007年4月正式启用。 该标准厂房由一幢5层和一幢4层的联体厂房构成，厂房总占地面积3，962平方米，总建筑面积约18，724平方米。 其中10万级洁净房2,014平方米，30万级洁净房445平方米。 另外还有434平方米的实验室区域，员工总数已逾360名。 公司的主要业务包括制造、销售医疗器材相关产品，并提供技术咨询和产品售后服务。
covidien medical product (shanghai) manufacturing l.l.c. is a $40 million ‘wholly foreign owned enterprise’(wfoe) investment by covidien in the united states. the entity was founded in november, 2006. covidien bought the building located in the caohejing export processing zone. renovation started in january, 2006 and moved into the facility in april, 2007. the facility is made up by two connected buildings with ground area 3,962 square meters and 18,724 square meters built-up area. in addition to electronic production floor and warehouse, the plant houses two clean rooms - a 2,014 square meters class 100,000 and a 445 square meters class 300,000, and a 434 square meters laboratory. currently we have above 360 employees. the main business for our company is to manufacture medical products and provide technical support & after-services, etc.
